> The WhatsApp Bot feature allows patients to communicate with the clinic through a dedicated WhatsApp number, offering a faster and more professional experience by automating responses and essential operations — while still allowing a clinic staff member to intervene at any time when needed.

When the patient initiates a conversation with the WhatsApp Bot number, a 24-hour window opens, allowing you to communicate and send messages completely free.\
A new window opens each time the patient starts a new conversation with the bot.

### **Paid Messages**

* Enables sending message templates to patients even if they haven’t initiated a conversation in the last 24 hours.
* Paid messages can be used for utility or marketing templates.
* Message costs are determined by **Meta** according to your local pricing policy.
* Pricing details will be explained in the upcoming sections.

## 🧩 **WhatsApp Bot Activation Requirements**

1. 📱 **A Mobile Number to Link with WhatsApp Bot**

<Warning>
  * If the number is currently used on WhatsApp, the account must be deleted, or a new number must be used.
  * Once the bot is activated, the number cannot be used through normal WhatsApp app — only through Dentolize (web or mobile app).

2. 🏢 **Active Meta Business Account**

You can use your Facebook account to create a Meta Business portfolio if the clinic does not already have one.

3. 🌐 **Clinic Website or Official Facebook Page**

Required to verify the actual existence of the clinic.

4. 💳 **Payment Card**

Only required if you plan to enable paid messages through the WhatsApp Bot.

    There is a **daily limit of 250 conversations** if your account is new, which can be increased later by following Meta’s conditions.
